4P Tact Switches' Structural Characteristics

Size and Shape: 3×3 Tactile Switches are compact in size, with a length and width of about 3 mm, and a height that may vary depending on the specific model, but usually stays within a small range as well. This compact size allows 3×3 Tactile switches to take up very little space in electronic devices, which is conducive to the miniaturization of devices.

Key design: The keys of 3×3 tactile switches are usually made of soft and durable materials to ensure that users can get good tactile sensation and feedback when using them. At the same time, the key travel (i.e., the distance between pressing and releasing) is usually very short, which makes the operation more convenient and quick.

When the key is pressed, the spring plate deforms, causing the contact to close, thus opening the circuit; when the key is released, the spring plate returns to its original state, the contact breaks, and the circuit is broken.
