The 3×6 bracket light touch switch is mainly composed of the following parts:
Cover: Located at the topmost layer of the switch, it is used to protect the internal structure and provide the operation interface.
Button: Users trigger the switch action by pressing the button, which is usually designed as a circle to provide good tactile and visual effects.
Shrapnel (or spring): This is the key component of the switch, responsible for creating deformation when the button is pressed, thus changing the on/off state of the circuit.
Base: The structure that supports the entire switch and contains the pins that connect it to the circuit.
Pins: the connection between the switch and the circuit, generally five pins, two by two, and one pin for grounding.
Initial state: When the switch is not pressed, the shrapnel remains in the original state, the pins are not connected to each other and the circuit is in the disconnected state.
Pressing the button: When the user presses the button, the button exerts pressure on the shrapnel through the cover plate. The shrapnel deforms under pressure and contacts the tab (or another contact) downward, causing both pins of the switch to energize.
Circuit conduction: When the pins are energized, the circuitry appears to be energized and current can flow through the switch.
Withdrawal of external force: When the user withdraws the external force, the shrapnel deforms back to its original state and disengages from the tab (or contact), and the two pins of the switch no longer conduct.
Circuit Disconnection: After the pins are no longer conducting, the circuit is in a disconnected state and current cannot flow through the switch.
