Injection Molding of Tactile Switches

Injection molding of handles, bases and covers: Using an injection mold, molten plastic is injected into the mold and cooled to form the handle, base and cover of the switch. This step ensures the basic shape and structure of the switch.

Assembly of the Tactile Switch

Assembling parts: Reeds, yellow film (may be used to increase waterproof performance or to protect internal circuitry), black film (usually used to block light or to increase aesthetics) and other parts are assembled to the base in sequence.

Apply waterproof film: Apply a layer of waterproof film on the reed to ensure that the switch can still work properly in a humid environment.

Cover the cover plate: Put the cover plate on the handle and fix it to complete the assembly of the switch.

Fixing and cutting of membrane switch

Fixed column processing: Fix the four fixed columns by riveting or other ways to ensure the stability and firmness of the switch.

Trimming feet: Trim the four feet into pin type or patch type according to the need, so as to facilitate the installation of the switch on the circuit board.

Testing and Packing of Touch Switches

Quality testing: Conduct comprehensive testing on the produced switches, including waterproof performance, electrical performance, operating force and other aspects of the test, in order to ensure that the product quality meets the design requirements.

Packing and shipping: Pack the tested switches and prepare them for shipping. During the packing process, attention should be paid to protect the switches from damage and ensure that the packaging materials meet the environmental requirements.
