Case: usually made of plastic and other materials, the main function is to protect the components inside the switch from the interference and damage of the external environment, to ensure the stability and durability of the switch.

Base plate: also known as circuit board, is made of metal or semiconductor material. It serves as the main support for the switch, carrying other components and providing the basis for circuit connections.

Contact Tab: Usually made of metal, it is one of the core parts of the switch. When the switch is pressed, the contact piece contacts two circuit points, thus completing the circuit connection. The structure of the contact points determines the reliability of the switch's conduction. The larger the contact surface, the more reliable the conduction.

Trigger plate: Located above the contact patch and made of elastic material. When the switch is pressed, the trigger plate moves downward and pushes the contact piece to connect with the circuit point. The resilience and recovery 

of the trigger plate is critical to the sensitivity and life of the switch.

Pin (Side 2-Pin): This is the part of the 6 x 6 side 2-pin flick switch that is unique to the 6 x 6 side 2-pin flick switch and is used to connect the switch to the circuit board.
