16mm Metal Key Switches' Structural Characteristics

Size & Appearance:

The diameter of the switch is 16mm, which belongs to small push button switch.

The head of the pushbutton is a flat design, simple and generous appearance.

Material and Protection:

Pushbutton and housing are usually made of metal, which has good abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance.

The switch has waterproof function, usually through the waterproof rubber gasket, waterproof rubber ring and other sealing elements to prevent water penetration, to ensure the stable operation of the switch in a humid environment.

Self-locking and self-resetting structure:

Self-locking structure: The switch is equipped with a locking device inside, when the button is pressed for the first time, the locking device will lock the button to keep the switch on. When the button is pressed again, the locking device unlocks, the button pops back and the switch is disconnected.

Self-reset structure: On the basis of self-locking, a specific mechanical structure is designed so that the button can automatically return to the initial position when it is not acted by external force, thus realizing the self-reset function.

16mm Metal Button Switches' Working Principle

The 16mm metal pushbutton switch controls the on/off of the circuit by pressing and releasing the button, thus realizing the control of the device.
