A Tact Switch, also known as a push button switch, is an electronic switch that belongs to the category of electronic components. The general operation of a touch switch will automatically run its reset operation. For example, if the switch button is pressed once, the switch will be turned on once, and it will be turned on again after being pressed again. For buttons on mobile phones, remote controls, household appliances, etc., touch switches are widely used. And with the rapid development of technology, for today's touch switches, the switch uses conductive rubber or other non-destructive component materials instead of metal shrapnel, which can greatly improve the service life of the touch switch, and the output power of the switch circuit is relatively stable.
According to the installation method, Tact Switches can be mainly divided into three types: side plug-in type, patch type, and plug-in type. There are also three common packaging methods: plug-in bag packaging, patch tape, and DIP plug-in tape.

Working Principle of tact switches
A tact switch is a common electronic component that uses the physical properties of contact to control the on and off of a circuit. A touch switch usually consists of a mechanical button and a pair of metal contacts. When the button is pressed, the metal contacts come into contact, closing the circuit path and allowing current to flow. Conversely, when the button is released, the metal contacts separate, the circuit is interrupted, and the circuit is no longer conducting.

How to Test
1. Check the color: the contrast of color.
2. Shape check: according to the product design drawings. Verify the shape and the position of the foot button accordingly. See whether the P foot is deformed.
3. Appearance check: check the panel layer of graphics; logo text, etc., whether there are defects, omissions, whether with stains, scratches and so on.
4. High-temperature testing: the same batch of products to take a few into the high-temperature oven to set the temperature time, observe the appearance of the product after the high-temperature oven is deformed, whether blistering and so on.
5. Strength test: Use the strength tester to check whether the strength of the product is consistent with the customer's needs. The test will be carried out in the same batch of products and set the temperature time.
