Side Actuation: The switch is mounted flat on the PCB, but its actuators are perpendicular to the board, allowing for easy access from the side or through a panel cutout.
Circuit Control: Pressing an individual actuator down closes a single SPST circuit, connecting its corresponding pin to the common bus pin. Releasing it opens the circuit.
