While a dip switch 4 pins is suitable for basic tasks, this 8-position model provides 256 unique binary codes for complex hardware addressing and configuration. The gold-plated contacts ensure a reliable connection, making it an essential component for high-density, low-profile electronic designs.

Recessed Slide Mechanism: A small tool is used to move the flush actuator, which repositions the internal wiper to either complete or break the circuit.
