Push-Push Ejection: The connector employs an internal cam track and spring system where the user pushes the card in to lock it securely and pushes again to release and eject it.
Contact Engagement: Upon insertion the precision-stamped gold-plated contacts flex to wipe against the card pads removing oxidation and establishing a low-resistance electrical path.
Card Presence Detection: A mechanical leaf switch integrated into the side of the housing is actuated when a card is fully seated sending a signal to the processor to activate the interface.
