Tact switches’ Material Preparation

Plastic base: usually made of LCP plastic material carefully, can be over reflow soldering, to ensure both thin and temperature resistance and not deformed.

Shrapnel: the key component of the light touch switch, often using high quality stainless steel shrapnel, such as Japan Saintyear shrapnel, to ensure the life of the switch and feel.

Cover: Used to encapsulate the internal components of the switch and protect them from external interference.

Other materials: such as dustproof film, pins, packaging materials and so on.

Injection molding button and plastic base: Plastic material is injected into the mold by injection molding machine to form the button and base of the switch.

Quality Inspection: Quality inspection of the injection molded parts to ensure that there are no defects and flaws.

Internal Assembly of tap switch

Reed Placement: Use the automatic machine to precisely place the reed into the plastic base.

Lamination: Apply dustproof film on the reed to protect the reed from dust and impurities.

Cover encapsulation: Put the cover on the base and cover it up using the handle to complete the internal assembly.
