4.5*4.5 touch switches' Structure and Principle

Structure: It consists of insert, base, shrapnel, button and cover.

Principle: The switch is realized by the metal shrapnel bouncing under force. When using, gently press the switch button to make the switch on, and release the hand when the switch is off.

3P 4.5*4.5 tactile switches' Performance Parameters

Contact form: usually SPST (single-pole, single-throw) contacts.

Mechanical life: up to 100,000 cycles or even higher to ensure the durability of the switch.

Operating force: usually between 160±50gf and 260±50gf, but also 180±50gf to 250±50gf, depending on design and manufacturing requirements.

Contact resistance: usually less than or equal to 100MΩ, some products even reach ≤ 0.03ω, to ensure good electrical contact performance.

Insulation resistance: usually greater than or equal to 50MΩ, some products even reach ≥100MΩ, providing high insulation performance.

Dielectric voltage resistance: usually AC 250V (50-60Hz) for 1min, ensuring the safety of the switch in a high-voltage environment.

Stroke: typically between 0.22±0.1mm and 0.25±0.05mm, ensuring comfortable and stable touch of the button.

Electrical life: up to 100,000cycles, ensuring the reliability of the switch under long time use.
