Logitech M185 Slide Switch's Product Operating Principle

Mechanical Actuation: Moving the external actuator slides an internal conductive contact, physically connecting the center (common) pin to one of the two outer (throw) pins.
Circuit Path Selection: In one position, the common pin is electrically connected to the first throw pin. In the opposite position, that connection is broken, and a new one is made with the second throw pin.
